Activities in summer

Kaiserwinkl offers optimal conditions for a wonderful summer holiday. You will be able not only enjoy hiking in the beautiful mountain scenery, but also take advantage of many possibilities to practise other activities during your holiday.

Here are some examples:

  • Hiking / Mountain climbing

    Relaxing alpine hiking or a challenging tour with peak victory on the Zahmer Kaiser or the Wilder Kaiser, and then a stop over in one of the cosy hut with a hearty snack? You will have to make a decision. Around 200 km of marked hiking trails in Kaiserwinkl await you.

  • Swimming / Water sport

    The lake Walchsee, which with its 20 up to 24 degree, belongs to one of the warmest lake in Tyrol and invites you to enjoy great swimming fun. You can also explore the lake with an electric boat or enjoy the water-skiing. Our house offers you the Swimming Card, which is integrated in the Kaiserwinkl-Card. You will be able to use the benefits of free entry to Walchsee Seepromenade, Walchsee Ostufer, Waldschwimmbad in Kössen and outdoor swimming pool in Reit im Winkl.

  • Biking, Mountain biking or E-Biking

    There are numerous possibilities for biking in Kaiserwinkl: whether a relaxing tour to Walchsee or Schwemm or more challenging tour, for example, 125 km of marked mountain biking trails.  If you are not ready for such challenges, we offer you E-bikes. Many rental and charging stations are available for you in our holiday region.

  • Golf

    There are many possibilities for green sport fans in our region. There are three golf courses in Kaiserwinkl:
